Biography

I studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technische Universität München (Germany). After my Bachelor studies (2010-2013) I consecutively received the Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in 2016. In March 2016, I joined the Chair of Media Technology at the Technische Universität München as a research associate where I received my Engineering Doctorate in August 2019. In September 2019, I started my appointment at Stanford University as Visiting Assistant Professor while leading the Visual Computing and Artifical Intelligence (VCAI) group at the Max-Planck Center for Visual Computing and Communication (MPC-VCC). My research interests comprise artificial intelligence, visual computing and communication, as well as the extensive field of mobile robotics.
